HTTPS downloads have not been further optimized and are now served without the need for credentials in the links and credentials entered into your download manager. This means that you can now download anything directly with or without download managers and not face any errors.
Both our download nodes are now running strict encryption with TLS 1.2+ and HSTS. Download managers are also supported now, if you enter the provided credentials into them. Look for the credentials in the download sections.
The secondary file server is now reported restored. During the process, the repository has been updated. Since the update tracking log has been interrupted, you should manually check what is new. Future update reports will be sent as usual beyond this point. Additionally, the repository is now automatically backed up on updates.
Binary Technologies report, that the server is now almost back to full strength. The Adobe Repository here at the site is currently being rebuilt from external backups, due to file corruptions. The repository should be back in working order, later this week.
Unfortunately the server has major problems at the moment, with two damaged hard drives. The datacenter will replace them when given the green light, but backups will need to be considered first. >> Binary Technologies update on the matter <<
The secondary file server has started to show general I/O CRC errors. It is likely that a hard drive is failing and will need to be replaced. The current RAID configuration should prevent any data loss. While testing and repairing is carried out, some services and downloads will be unavailable.
